As some of you may know, I was recently taken into hospital for emergency back surgery. This unfortunately means that I cannot work for sometime to come but I really wanted to thank all my wonderful clients, friends and family for their amazing support over the past couple of weeks and their patience over the coming weeks (hopefully not months). I really do not know which way is up right now - probably due to all the pain killers but all the cards, flowers and good wishes have meant so much and I just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate them. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Sarah x
Pleeeeease stop raining! I have had to reschedule so much work! Luckily, we managed to bank this shoot although fighting all the way with the light. These two gorgeous little ones were totally adorable. She had the most wonderful curly hair, falling into ringlets around her face and his chocolate brown eyes must melt his mummy’s heart every time he looks at her. This shoot is a big secret for a certain someone special. So why blog it? Because mummy can’t wait to see a sneak peak - and who can blame her

-
They are lovely pictures Sarah - you have captured them beautifully. I can’t wait to see the rest, and can see I’ll be spoilt for choice. Thank you.
-
Gorgeous photos, and gorgeous children! I really love your style.
-
Great images Sarah, they are so cute - and I love the pony jumper, it’s brill.
-
Gorgeous portraits, you would never know you were struggling for light.
-
Gorgeous kids and beautiful photography.. simply stunning.
How does it happen? One minute they’re a cute little bundle that fits nicely in the crook of your arm and then in a blink of an eye they turn into a beautiful young woman ready to face what life has to offer. This gorgeous young lady, her dad and brother all came to see me to mark this milestone. It takes just an hour or so of your time but these are the moments when you look back on your life that will mean everything…

-
beautiful shots of a very stunning girl - i love the photo where she’s hugging her dad. a great portrait shoot !
-
I love these pictures Sarah. Who said teenagers were diddicult to photograph - totally gorgeous!
-
diddicult? Well it just means extra difficult!
-
Gorgeous girl.. stunning eyes.. and of course beautifully captured.. looks like they all had a great time with you!
The last time I was asked to photograph this lovely family was when their beautiful little girl was only a few months old. I love being invited back to photograph families for the second and often third time - just seeing how the children have grown in between is just amazing. Their features often change but the one thing I remembered so well about this little girl was her huge brown eyes, which have definitely stayed the same. Such a poppet and definitely in charge of her two older brothers, who adore her…

Their cousins were also at the house and although one was a little camera shy, this little one loved the limelight…

The phone is ringing and the email enquiries coming thick and fast. Trying to squeeze everyone in before Christmas is proving difficult with this awful weather. However, someone was looking down on me this afternoon and held the rain off for just long enough to capture this cute little girl and her lovely parents. Mum said that her daughter loved trees, so off we went to find the brightest autumn tree and leaves we could find - not easy when most of the leaves have been blown off in the rain and squished into the mud. She was an absolute poppet and fell fast asleep in her daddy’s arms the minute I took the last shot. I had to include the picture of her tiny little hand, just because you forget so quickly how small they are at that age - it’s those little details that get lost in time so easily…

Fab Autumn portrait shoot, gorgeous little poppet, and great colours.
-
Those pictures are lovely. Beautiful moments were captured.
-
Absolutely delighted with what we have seen and really can’t wait to see more and share them with our famalies. So pleased we made the right choice of photographer who truly captured Selina’s most natural being.
-
Absolutely delighted at how natural Selina is captured. Can not wait to share the rest of the photos with our families. Thank you Sarah…so pleased I made that call.

Hi Dona
Wow what fantastic photos. Something to really treasure. I feel proud so can imagine how you feel.
love Gisa x
-
These pictures are beautiful. She did a gorgeous job!
-
These are wonderful. I did a ‘double take’ when I saw the parents because our son was in the special care baby unit with their daughter at the same time.
Wonderful to see them all so happy and little one doing so well.
-
Nice set of pics, I love the one with the leaves flying around.
One of the joys of having an office on the Borde Hill is that I get to use the grounds for photoshoots. Even though the Estate is closed for the winter, I have access to the gardens which are not only beautiful at this time of year but great for clients who don’t want to be in full glare of everyone else. This family took advantage of the autumn sun and gardens this weekend - such fun to photograph three young boys - lots of hugs and kisses, jumping on dad and throwing leaves and conkers around. Actually, I think mum and dad enjoyed the leaf fight as much as they did! I’m sure they must have spent the rest of the day picking mud and grass out of their hair. Here’s a sneak peak of the shoot…

fantastic autumn family shoot sarah - yet again the fun comes shining thru these images ! really happy images !

Gorgeous Sarah, looks like they had a brilliant time!
I was contacted by this young lady’s mum to say that she wanted to capture some images of her daughter. She had done a family portrait shoot before in a studio but wanted something different this time. No problem! This young lady was amazing!! Although a little shy at first in front of the camera (who isn’t?) and in denial about just how pretty she was, it didn’t take long to get into the swing of things. I love the series of pictures of her with her ipod and seriously could have blogged just about every image I took as she looked great in all of them, but these were definite favourites. A big thank you to her younger brother for coming along, keeping her company and encouraging her at every moment. I have some great shots of him too but for now, this is her moment…

-
Gorgeous images Sarah - I love the earthy tones to them x
-
Thanks so much Sarah - these photos are gorgeous and capture her brilliantly! Can’t wait to see the rest.
-
Zara looks absolutely stunning in these photos
-
I adore these photos. Such a beautiful autumnal feel and I love the iPod shots - relaxed and real!
-
Love these - particularly the first two and the wistful expression of no: 5……gorgeous! Rosie
-
What a beautiful young lady.. she’ll be thrilled with these!
-
The most amazing thing is this beautiful girl was only a bump at my first wedding and I have seen her and her brother only rare occassions since. You both look amazing
This young man was a little hesitant to start with but soon got right into the swing of things when I said he could throw some leaves at me! Despite being stung on the head twice at the start of the shoot (I hate wasps!) we had great fun and we even managed to get it done before the heavens opened. Here’s the sneak peak…

-
Don’t you just love autumn colours! Great shoot Sarah.
-
Great images and a gorgeous wee chap. I think Autumn must be earlier down in the sunny south!
-
I’m a bit depressed that it’s autumn but great images!
Pleeeeeeease let me take some pictures of you. I don’t care if you wear braces and that you don’t want to smile. You are beautiful, the light is beautiful and I want to take some pictures… pleeeeeeeease - I’ll give you extra pocket money? You can take your Mac? DEAL!! The end result, as you can see, was my gorgeous girl and her precious laptop in a field as the sun went down. Maybe it’s a strange combination but these pictures really sum her up right now as, like most teenagers, her precious Mac is glued to her finger tips for every waking second she can get away with.
I know having your mum nag you into having your photo taken is just SOOOO BORING but I have to say to you my precious girl, that I love you so very much, you are just beautiful (braces or not) and maybe one day you’ll look back and smile when you remember when your mad old mother made you walk through fields to have your photo taken with your Mac. x x x

-
Gorgeous - images & daughter! Verity is constantly glued to her Mac too and Gil would be but his isn’t as portable ;o)
-
Truly Stunning images! The light, the location, the subject - everything about these images is beautiful! I think you should treat yourself to an extra large frame of the one where she’s looking into the camera.
-
Oh so familiar and the same with my daughter as well — bribes of all sorts at this age!
Beautiful pics!
-
Great images Sarah, my faves are the second one down on right - gorgeous expression and light and the last one which is stunning.
-
Absolutely beautiful photographs and definitely worth all the persuasion! She will appreciate these in years to come if not now.
Well this shoot put my “mummy hormones” into overdrive! Just how sweet and totally innocent is this beautiful little baby girl - only three weeks old. Personally, I think mum and dad were amazing organising a photoshoot so soon, as I seem to recall being in total shock with my first born and not even able to get dressed by mid day, let alone get photographs taken! We started off the session inside but as always, my heart lies out doors so we went for a quick walk and were rewarded with these beautiful shots while the warm September sunshine blessed the day…

-
ooooh Sarah youve done it again! Gorgeous.
-
beautiful, gentle, tender, special - gorgeous new born session !
-
Too precious for words, and you’ve captured it all perfectly! x
-
Gorgeous images Sarah - I wish you were around the corner from us so you could capture some group images of us!! x
