This is the third time I have photographed this little boy, starting back when he was just a little baby.  His mum now has a wonderful collection of photo albums and framed pictures documenting his life so far.  This is such an enjoyable thing to do as you build up such a lovely relationship with the client.  I hope I can continue doing this for a long time to come.

  • Very cute! That’s great that you’ve photographed him three times, they are so lucky to have such beautiful images documenting his life. As always such wonderful use of colour.

A beautiful sunny summer’s afternoon spent with friends and their gorgeous little boy.  Having not seen him for the best part of a year, it was amazing to see how much he had grown and what a happy little chap he had turned out to be with the most wonderful beaming smile.  He also had an amazing turn of speed for one so little so it was down with the primes and out with the zoom lens.  My reward was being able to capture the pictures below as well as my friends indulging my love of wine and chocolate.  In fact I’m thinking of offering to take part payment in chocolate from now on – it feels like it could be a good move :-)

Mother and daughter relationships can be a tricky thing sometimes but these two lovely ladies had the most amazing bond.  Giggling and teasing each other throughout the photo shoot just made the whole thing so much fun, even though we were all boiling in the afternoon heat.  Thanks for such a great time ladies and here’s your sneak peak…

I was invited to take photographs of these two truly delightful young girls and we decided that on a morning as beautiful as yesterday it should be spent under a huge lime tree  picking flowers, reading stories and having a picnic with their favourite teddy bears.  If only every morning could be spent like this, life would be a wonderful thing :-)

Wow, this is amazing.  You get a puppy and suddenly your  teenager, who would rather do anything other than spend time with you having his photo taken, doesn’t mind hanging out  for 3 mins in the garden as long as he can have his picture taken with the dog.  This is such a rare occasion that you don’t even care that he has a t-shirt with a less than appealing logo on it or that he spends 2 mins out of the 3 texting his friends :-)

Meet the latest addition to our family!  Don’t be fooled by the sad puppy dog eyes, this puppy can chew and pee for England and take a look at the size of his paws – definitely made for digging! I am currently mopping as fast as he can pee and he’s already destroyed a pair of headphones (teenage kids do not put anything away). But oh how cute he is. How he melts my heart when he sleeps upside down in my arms.  How lovely he smells when he buries his soft head into my neck.  I’m totally smitten and when he looks at me with those eyes I could almost forgive him anything.

This little man is nearly one and just the apple of his parent’s eyes.  He was an absolute joy to photograph but when the cars and lorries went by and he was totally mesmerised.  What is it with boys and cars and do they ever grow out of it?  Certainly not in my house (yes Chris, I’m talking about you!) :-)  Anyway, check out the shots below and see what a gorgeous and joyful little soul he is…

The wonderful thing about living around here is that you are two minutes from the countryside and it really is coming into it’s own right now.  That’s why I was so delighted to be  greeted with this beautiful buttercup field when I went on location for a recent family shoot.  Although I have to admit that  sitting on a few thistles while taking the photographs brought a tear to my eye!  Thanks to this lovely family for your hospitality and here’s the sneak peak you’ve been waiting for….

Out and about with this lovely family this morning shooting a surprise birthday pressie for their dad. Although the smallest member of the family decided that today wasn’t a day for smiling we nailed a beautiful shot of her in the Bluebells with her gorgeous little face beaming from ear to ear…

  • Loving them! Happy families. Gorgeous photos. You can only smile when seeing these images filled with love and happiness. Well done Sarah!

  • Gorgeous smiles all around! What a perfect setting, lovely colour this time of the year! The one of baby lying down in the bluebells is breathtaking.

  • Adorable; love the portrait of baby in bluebells and the two little ones together especially.

They must be so delighted with them, sparkly eyes and fantastic looking mums and that bluebell shot is asking to be a big piece of art on the wall, lovin it lovin it x

What a joy to be part of a new beginning.  To know that in a few weeks this gorgeous couple will be blessed with a child is something that can’t help but make you smile and what could be better than recording the moment for them.  I hope that “bump” brings you both much happiness and few sleepless nights. Sarah x
