After a couple of cancellations due to the awful weather we’ve been having lately l finally managed to get out in the sunshine on Saturday to take these family photographs. Three beautiful sisters who all got on together so well made a truly lovely family. I had to post the one below of the eldest daughter as it was her birthday on Saturday and not one complaint that she had to spend it with a lens pointing at her 
Not only was she a star but also incredibly pretty.
Do you remember when the sun last appeared in the sky over the UK? I think it was when I managed to get and photograph this lovely family. We went for a walk through the local farmland and the whole shoot just evolved from there. These are some of my favourite shots of the summer – as you can see, Mum got to have a rest while dad took over as the main source of entertainment for the day.
Just to start the new blog ball rolling, here are a few personal pics from a recent trip to Laguna Beach in California. As my kids currently think the sun and moon rises in Abercrombie & Fitch and maxed out my credit card in their store, I tried a couple of shots in a similar style.
