Award Winning Photographer!

Wow,  I’ve just been informed that I’ve won three Fujifilm Envisage awards.  These images will then go forward and at the end of the year the overall Fujifilm Envisage Photographer of the Year will be announced. Keep those fingers crossed everyone and a big thank you to my wonderful subjects :-)

Here’s one of the pictures that won…

Photo shoot at Borde Hill Gardens

This is one amazing young man!  Talented and articulate, fun and confident – not many adults have these qualities let alone a seventeen year old but this guy has it in bucket loads.  We had a lot of fun doing this -borrowing a chair from Elivra Cafe to put in the middle of a muddy field raised a few eyebrows but it made for some fabulous shots.  He brought along a selection of clothes and styled himself – the design world needs to watch out for this guy, I think he’s a star in the making!

Bring on the sunshine.

Okay, I am officially fed up with the winter.  Yes, I can see the small signs of life in the garden – the odd daffodil is raising it’s head from it’s winter slumber and the little lambs have appeared in the fields at the kid’s school, but NO HEAT!  I want to feel the sun on my face, my bones need to warm through. I want to drink cocktails before lunch and stretch out and toast both sides until brown. Luckily, I’m off on hols in four weeks, so not long to wait but it feels like forever away – so have posted some images that I forgot to blog at the end of last summer, when the days were long and air was warm (can you remember that far back?). BTW, please don’t ask “what’s happened to your blog” – I tried being clever and altering a few things but guess what, I’m not clever and have managed to muck it up.  Hopefully, a clever lady in the States will be sorting it out soon. Fingers crossed!
