We  had great friends to stay recently who emigrated to Australia nine years ago.  They, like us, have a teenage boy living in the house, in fact they have three – two of which are now well over 6′ tall. We were discussing the joys of communicating (or lack of)  with teenagers and they told me to check out the following youtube clip – so this goes out to all mums of teenage boys everywhere – I know you’ll understand

I had the pleasure of spending time with this lovely young man yesterday.  He’s was an absolute delight and totally gorgeous as you can see.  It was also good to know that he supported the best football team in the country!

Just back from a wonderful family holiday at one of my favourite places in the world – beautiful Barbados.  I can’t recommend this place enough if you get the chance. Not many pictures to show as my family would not get off the beach but we managed a quick scoot around the island in our mini moke and few afternoons surfing…
