It’s always fab to get to shoot somewhere a little different, so I was really pleased to be asked to take photographs of four gorgeous little boys at the Ridgeview Wine Estate in Ditchling, Sussex.  What a beautiful setting and a wonderful place for little cousins to run around and play for hours on end.  If you get a chance to visit, this amazing award wining vineyard will not disappoint.  Thanks for a lovely afternoon and here’s your sneak peak as promised…

There must be a shortage of pink clothing at the moment as all the little girls I’ve had to photograph seem to love this colour.  Great for me though as it photographs beautifully.  We had planned to go to the wheat field  I did a shoot in on Saturday but as we arrived we saw the farmer busy cutting it all and turning into bales!  Little spikey pieces of left over wheat don’t go very well against delicate little legs, so off we went to a nearby field.  Mum brought along some bits and pieces to play with which always adds a little extra to the picture and we captured some lovely bright images with lots of green that she really wanted for her new home that’s being built…

Does it get any better than this?   I found a gorgeous location near to me that I had been wanting to try out for ages and then along comes a wonderful family who say – yes we love the idea, lets do it!  The results speak for themselves and although I could blog just about everything we did, I know that these are the shots mum and dad would like to see of their gorgeous girls in their sneak peak.  I had such a wonderful afternoon – girls you were just great to photograph (I adore your hair!) and thanks for the cup cake, which definitely kept me going

This little girl was a joy – only 18 months old and with her fluffy blonde hair reminded me so much of my daughter at this age. I love photographs of children with bare feet –  she had only just started wearing shoes two days ago but seemed more than happy to go without them. Although we got some lovely photos of her with gorgeous little jeans on, looking very trendy, there is something rather lovely about a little girl in a traditional dress…

Do you recognise this lovely couple from the maternity photographs I took in May?  Just look what arrived 5 weeks ago – the most beautiful baby boy. This adorable  little man has turned their lives around completely as only a baby can.  Despite a little accident against daddy’s shirt (opps!) he was just a complete star and stayed awake for such a long time.  However after  quick feed he soon settled down for a little snooze and we got those beautiful angelic shots that melt your heart.  Many congratulations to you both, he is just amazing.

I had taken some photographs of this couple’s lovely daughter before but this time I was asked to take some family pictures to help celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.  Despite being jet lagged from a fabulous holiday, they smiled and posed for the camera with style. With lots of laughing and joking we soaked up the evening sunlight which chose to make a welcome appearance.  Many congratulations to you both you truly are a lovely family and here’s to the next 25!  Personally, I only have 6 more years to go with Mr W and I should get my silver medal – or at least something sparkly )

You may well recognise some of the people in this shoot as they returned to Borde Hill on Saturday with the rest of their family to continue their portrait session.  I really couldn’t believe how much the children had grown in just a couple of months, with their little boy now toddling around.  We did a circuit of my favourite places, capturing them all having fun as we went along.  I just loved how they all dressed in complimentary colours making the images look so vibrant with the gorgeous red polo shirts. They all look fab and happy and make such a lovely family together – here’s a sneak peak…
