The last time I was asked to photograph this lovely family was when their beautiful little girl was only a few months old.  I love being invited back to photograph families for the second and often third time - just seeing how the children have grown in between is just amazing. Their features often change but the one thing I remembered so well about this little girl  was her huge brown eyes, which  have definitely stayed the same. Such a poppet and definitely in charge of her two older brothers, who adore her…

Their cousins were also at the house and although one was a little camera shy, this little one loved the limelight…

The phone is ringing and the email enquiries coming thick and fast.  Trying to squeeze everyone in before Christmas is proving difficult with this awful weather. However, someone was looking down on me this afternoon and held the rain off for just long enough to capture this cute little girl and her lovely parents.  Mum said that her daughter loved trees, so off we went to find the brightest autumn tree and leaves we could find - not easy when most of the leaves have been blown off in the rain and squished into the mud.  She was an absolute poppet and fell fast asleep in her daddy’s arms the minute I took the last shot.  I had to include the picture of her tiny little hand, just because you forget so quickly how small they are at that age - it’s those little details that get lost in time so easily…

Well this shoot put my “mummy hormones” into overdrive!  Just how sweet and totally innocent is this beautiful little baby girl - only three weeks old.  Personally, I think mum and dad were amazing organising a photoshoot so soon, as I seem to recall being in total shock with my first born and not even able to get dressed by mid day, let alone get photographs taken!  We started off the session inside but as always, my heart lies out doors so we went for a quick walk and were rewarded with these beautiful shots while the warm September sunshine blessed the day…

Look at this beautiful woman in the full bloom of pregnancy.  It’s a joy to be asked to photograph someone’s bump - you feel that you’re part of the story before the baby has even arrived and it’s so nice chatting and being reminded of all the things that happen when you’re pregnant.  This lady was so calm about everything and already so full of love for the little person growing inside her that I think she will have the most laid back baby ever…

It’s always fab to get to shoot somewhere a little different, so I was really pleased to be asked to take photographs of four gorgeous little boys at the Ridgeview Wine Estate in Ditchling, Sussex.  What a beautiful setting and a wonderful place for little cousins to run around and play for hours on end.  If you get a chance to visit, this amazing award wining vineyard will not disappoint.  Thanks for a lovely afternoon and here’s your sneak peak as promised…

This little girl was a joy - only 18 months old and with her fluffy blonde hair reminded me so much of my daughter at this age. I love photographs of children with bare feet -  she had only just started wearing shoes two days ago but seemed more than happy to go without them. Although we got some lovely photos of her with gorgeous little jeans on, looking very trendy, there is something rather lovely about a little girl in a traditional dress…

Do you recognise this lovely couple from the maternity photographs I took in May?  Just look what arrived 5 weeks ago - the most beautiful baby boy. This adorable  little man has turned their lives around completely as only a baby can.  Despite a little accident against daddy’s shirt (opps!) he was just a complete star and stayed awake for such a long time.  However after  quick feed he soon settled down for a little snooze and we got those beautiful angelic shots that melt your heart.  Many congratulations to you both, he is just amazing.
