I met this beautiful bride a little while ago and was lucky enough to be asked to shoot a small number of photographs before she got married today.   Thank you for asking me to be part of your day which has been blessed by glorious spring sunshine and as promised, here’s a little sneak peak.

Just when you’re all dressed up and ready to go, the trampoline calls your name!  :-)

Wow,  I’ve just been informed that I’ve won three Fujifilm Envisage awards.  These images will then go forward and at the end of the year the overall Fujifilm Envisage Photographer of the Year will be announced. Keep those fingers crossed everyone and a big thank you to my wonderful subjects :-)

Here’s one of the pictures that won…

Adam and Claire were married on Saturday at West Heath and Charlie and I had the privilege of capturing their special day.  They had themed their wedding around the fact that they met each other whilst working at a ski resort and so they made sure that all the details were included – even down to fake snow, which was thrown over them instead of confetti (see photograph below).  It was an amazing day – thank you for letting us be a part of it and here’s a little sneak peak of the pictures I took….

Charlie and I had the wonderful opportunity of heading back to meet Gary and Victoria for part ll of their wedding photography shoot. They got married in December followed by their stunning  reception at Ghyll Manor in Rusper   What a day!  Gary and Victoria are what photographers would describe as the “dream couple”  - relaxed, happy, totally in love and up for playing all day in their wedding outfits.  Let’s put furniture in the garden – no problem! Let’s get you to lay across the top of a piano – of course, why not! Thank you both so much for such a lovely day and here’s a sneak peak as promised… Sarah x

Okay, so I know this is going OTT with the blogging but I am catching up with everything.  Here are some shots from Gary & Victoria’s winter wedding – second shooting with Charlie means I get to concentrate on the bride, which I love.  Here are just a few shots of the beautiful lady getting ready to marry the man of her dreams on a very cold winter’s day and a few other shots.  The downside of shooting at the back of a typically drafty English church was that by the end of the ceremony I literally couldn’t feel my fingers. Which reminds me…. why does Charlie always gets the warm end with the candles?

I forgot to blog some photographs from Newick Park Hotel in Sussex.  They were taken late September when all the leaves were changing into their beautiful autumn colours. It was a very small and intimate weekday wedding followed by a lifestyle shoot the next day with their wonderful, big and bouncy dog. As the weather was on our side, rather than photograph in the main part of the hotel, I found a Victorian walled garden to grab some shots in.

Will blog some shots from the lifestyle shoot next time.

Wow, two weddings in two days so have spent Sunday in my PJ’s recovering (yes, second shooting is still hard work!) :-)  Here are a few from yesterday – will blog the ones from Friday soon.  We were blessed with wonderful light, a great bride and groom and excellent guests.   Being the second shooter, I get to look out for the odd special moment as well as taking some bridal pics and chuck in a few ideas of my own…

I love that special moment when dad arrives….

Although marks out of ten for using a Canon camera – spot the “blonde moment” in this pic! :-)
